

We are a non-combative service,
charged with ensuring the security of the Principality and performing the
usual logistical functions associated with the armed forces when required.
We have a ceremonial role both in providing a
Guard of Honour for the Sovereign, and participating in celebrations for
Independence Day (April 21) and other important occasions.
In addition, we work actively actively with the Principality’s diplomatic community in charitable and security work.

advance the cause of obtaining official recognition of the Principality of
Hutt River and the RHRA in our host countries of Canada and the United States of America.

Unit Purpose:
We serve the Sovereign of the Principality of Hutt River and advance his mission for closer relations with Canada and the United States of America to:
Assist in obtaining official recognition of the Principality of Hutt River by building close relationships with North American military forces and gaining recognition of the RHRA and the Principality of Hutt River through these relationships;
Participate in military-related functions in North America as official representatives of the Principality of Hutt River and its Sovereign; and,
Educate the military community in North America and the general public about
the Principality of Hutt River and the
Royal Hutt River Defense Forces
(RHRDF).
Unit Activities:
Perform the duties of the Royal Guard Units of the
RHRA in
